Surgical removal

Impacted teeth must be surgical extracted. Dr. Karlis is an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Director of the Advanced Education Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. With her extensive credentials you are guaranteed to have an overall satisfying experience.

What you can expect:

Impacted teeth are surgically removed under the appropriate anesthesia. Dr. Karlis and associates have the education, licenses, and training required to provide you with the appropriate anesthesia.

After your impacted tooth is removed, you may require stitches. Some stitches dissolve and others have to be removed a few days after the procedure. Dr. Karlis will instruct you as to whether or not your stitches will need to be removed.
